Impedimenta

Another woman from the Asterix range is "Impedimenta" the wife of the chief.
Not the most friendly woman, like her husband she rules in her own way.
She also keeps the most importand house of the village clean.

From this metal serie I got this figure:

This time I show you the fish seller from the Asterix range: Unhygienix
A friendly guy, unless he is in a fight with his neighbour

Maybee this is the reason why he is having a fish behind his back..

Cacofonix

Another famous character from the Asterix and Obelix range, the musician Cacofonix!
He is at the end of every comic book bind, so he can't play and sing.

This guy must have the most difficult shirt I have ever seen, cause of the pattern.
The pattern is two colors bleu and white, and the squares are smaller than a mm.
It was hell painting, but I love the result a lot.

From this metal serie I got this figure:

Happy Wargamer

This figure is specialy made by Alex for members of Benno's forum who did visit FIGZ 2011.
For me as Benno's dad its extra fun to see his name on the pedestal,
so it was right away clear for me to paint the text gold.

After painting this guy, I am sure to do a knight made by Alex in the future, the details are suberb, and it was realy fun to paint. The only thing what was hard to do was the dice, stupid I know...
Alex is in my eyes a master sculpter, and I would like to thank him for making this figure for us.

More painted Happy Wargames you can find on Benno's Forum
and personal I hope more will folow.

Geriatrix

This time the smallest and oldest member of the village from my Asterix & Obelix range
Not much colors for this guy, and looking to the size he could be 1/72 as well

From this metal serie I got this figure:

Man stuck in Pillory

This was a very small project, the base is a 1 eurocent coin
the figure is made of metal and comes in 2 parts,
one is the pillory with head and hands, and the other part is his body.

It is a single figure bought at Crises Antwerp 2010 from Magister Militum i believe...
real fun to paint, I recommend it to everyone!

Scrooge

This small vignette I did make a year ago for the paining competition on Benno's Forum
The theme was christmas, so I tought "Humbug... what will I make"

I came up with the idea of making a part of the christmas carol, a scene his dead partner Marley brings Scrooge to his own grave..

The gost of Marley is made of a skeleton fig, who has a chain for al the bad things he did.
This chain is made of a old necklace chain given to me by my girlfriend.
The skeleton figure I got from Paul, it was a figure without a head.
Just made a cape out of aluminium foil

The gravestone is made of foam, and for those who woundering why there isn't any snow at the side of the vignette where Scrooge is, thats to show the difference between dead (cold) and alive (warm)

Hope you like it...

And because of first X-Mas day today, I tought it would be a nice day for posting!

Merry Christams "humbug"
